INOX 18/10
STAINLESS STEEL
Our bathroom accessories are made of stainless steel containing 16-18% chromium and 18-10% nickel. The standardized name of the popular steel name 18/10 is Grade 304.
The content of chromium determines its resistance to corrosion. The added nickel allows polishing to a mirror shine, improves corrosion resistance at high temperatures and adds durability. This type of steel is often used for making utensils (e.g. pots, platters) and instruments of the highest quality and durability.

Kapitan make it easy for you to install your own bathroom fixtures - with long lasting effect using extraordinarily strong acrylic foam adhesive, 3M VHB Tape - without any hardware, without drilling into the tiles of your new bathroom, and without having to invite construction workers into your home.

Corrosion free- Stainless steel last forever because if forms a natural protective layer without plating that restores itself when damaged. The Chrome in stainless steel forms an invincible layer of oxide that protects the steel from corrosion, when it comes into contact with oxygen in the air. When compromised, this layer is quickly restored.
Natural Shine - The Nickel allows the steel to shine like mirror and gives it further stregth.
Powder Coated - stainless steel.
Powder Coating is a dry finishing process that uses finely ground particles of pigment and resin that are electrostatically charged and sprayed onto electrically grounded parts. The charged powder particles adhere to the part and are held there until melted and fused into a uniform coating in a curing oven.
Long Lasting - powder coating can maintain its finish up to 15 to 20 years. Its resistance to whether, corrosion, and chemicals make powder coating a more durable finish than paint or other liquid coatings. Powder coating is resistant to chipping, scratching, and other wear because of the thermal bonding it undergoes during curing.
Eco-Friendly - Unlike galvanization, environmental friendly powder powder coating contains no heavy metals, such as lead and cadmium. Powder coating does not produce any hazardous wastes as by products of the process.
